KLA Industries offers several search options to match your specific needs and situation.
These options are the retained search, the contingency search, and the engagement
search. An overview of each is as follows:
Retained Search: This is our highest level of service. We will
meet with your hiring team to assess your needs, and then dedicate a full-time recruiter
to work the search until the position is filled. The position will be highlighted
within our office so that our entire team will be working on it. We will communicate
with you at every step, present top candidates that we have pre-screened,
coordinate interviews, and assist with the employment offer. Fee is computed as
30% of first year compensation. An initial payment of one-third begins the retained
search process, then a progress payment of one-third when we have presented a slate
of qualified candidates, and the remainder when your new employee begins work. (Expenses
such as advertising and travel are additional, but are approved by you in advance).
Contingency Search: With a contingency search, you pay only if
and when the hiring process is completed. KLA still provides our full range of services
through the search, interview, and hiring process. Our fee is computed as 30% of
first year compensation.
Engagement Search: This option combines some of the best features
of both the retained and contingency searches, at a reduced rate. As with the retained
search, the position will be highlighted within our office and given increased attention.
And similar to the contingency search, the majority of the payment is only due if
and when the hiring process is completed. Our fee is computed at 25% of first year
compensation, with an initial payment of one-fourth to begin the search process.
